pH |
|
pH pH is a measure of how acidic or how alkaline (not to be confused with total alkalinity) the water is. As you can see from the diagram below the pH scale is 0 to 14, with 0 being very acidic and 14 very alkaline. pH 7 is neutral and for pools the pH should be maintained between 7.2 and 7.6, this being slightly alkaline protects the pool and plantroom equipment from aggressive, corrosive water and is comfortable for bathers.
