Points common to all swimming pool solar covers
- Solar covers are despatched in bags except when ordered with a foam filled leading edge
- Solar covers can be ordered in imperial measurements but will be invoiced to the nearest square metre
- When calculating solar cover prices, use exact size in feet or metres for swimming pool dimensions then round off to the nearest square metre. If you have the area in square feet, then convert it to square metres by multiplying the square footage by 0.0929
- All solar covers are supplied complete with a solar protector sheet which must be used when the cover is not in place on the swimming pool.
- All solar covers are made oversized unless otherwise requested.
- All non-hemmed solar covers are supplied as a rectangle and need to be trimmed on site as per instructions supplied with the cover.
- It is recommended that all solar covers over 12 metres (40') are fitted with reinforcing and a leading edge when used with a reel system.
- Solar cover material is welded using a heat process that causes natural expansion and contraction of material and so undulation of the cover along the weld lines may occur, which may possibly lead to a wavy appearance.
- All guarantees are for solar covers used on pools run at 29oC (84oF) or below, with chemical and dissolved solids kept in accordance with SPATA standards.
